Red Deer Rangers

Hello, I'm Vicky Elson and I am the Team Leader at Red Deer Rangers.

 

Red Deer Rangers offers before and after school care as well as holiday clubs for primary children aged 4 - 11 years.

 

Our breakfast club also runs from 7.30am - 8.30am each day, offering a wide range of healthy breakfast options available to children from several schools in and around the Bourne area. 

 

Our after-school programme runs from 3:00pm - 6:00pm each day and starts with the children being picked up from their various schools in our minibus. Upon arrival at the setting the children are provided with a drink and snack before being allowed to unwind from their school day in whichever way suits them best. We have a wide variety of actives including arts and crafts, jigsaw puzzles, board games, sports, team games and outdoor activities. Every day a different structured activity is offered for those who choose to take part although many children prefer to do their own thing.

A nutritious hot meal is provided as part of a varied menu which is displayed so the children know what they will be having for dinner each evening. All dietary requirements can be catered for.

 

During school holidays the children get the chance to explore the beautiful grounds of Grimsthorpe castle, making use of the adventure playground, forest school and the many wonderful open spaces we have on our doorstep. We have regular visits from Sports Coaches, and Dance Teachers as well as slime making workshops, cooking sessions, treasure hunts and a many more exciting outdoor activities.
