Nursery Room

Hi, I’m Angela, the Leader of the Nursery Room at Grimsthorpe Day Nursery. I work with a great team of highly motivated, qualified and experienced Nursery Practitioners who provide a wealth of skill, knowledge, warmth and fun! We all recognise how privileged we are to be playing such an important role in the development of our children and the many happy memories they will make during their time with us.

We are passionate about providing a stimulating, safe and secure environment for our children that will enable them to develop their independence, curiosity and creativity – whether it’s indoors or outside in the amazing grounds of the Grimsthorpe Castle Estate. The wide, open spaces on our doorstep provide an exciting array of opportunities for the children to challenge themselves, helping them to grow their self-esteem whilst providing them with unique, memorable and fun experiences!

At our setting, every child has a sense of belonging and is valued as an individual.  We encourage the development of supportive relationships with staff members and friendships with other children across the setting. This is achieved through education, support and care provision, putting our children and their families at the centre of all we do.
